My name is Gustaf, I have lived in Hinterglemm, Austria since I was just one year old. I was born in Brighton, Great Britain. I am half British and half Swedish. I am very grateful for my parents, I love living in the mountains and they have always shown amazing support in any sport that I do. My two sports are downhill riding and skiing, which are both very accessible in the region of Pinzgau.
My biking career began when I was 3 years old, I built little jumps all over our garden to go over on my running bike. When I was 5, I started riding on the local downhill track near our house on my hard tail bike. Everyday from April until November I am riding downhill. I love testing out new trails and finding new challenges. I really enjoy the technical tracks with all the roots and stones. Going off a high jump into the mud is the best. The dirtier, the better!
I attend the Nordic Ski Middle School in Saalfelden. It’s a sports school where we train most of the year. In autumn and spring, we are roller blading, mountain biking and cross country skiing. In the wintertime, my focus is alpine skiing. On my days off, I train with the Saalbach-Hinterglemm Ski Club and I race on the weekends. When I get some time to myself, I love freestyle jumping, touring and freeriding in the powder. I love being in nature. I am very proud to be representing Maloja. They support me and understand all of my passions even though I am still very young.
