Home Entering the Madhouse

We’ve been friends with Markus Bendler for a number of years. After coming to us as an athlete originally, he became a valuable expert for all alpine sports clothing. And when he wanted to open a premium alpine sports shop after an active career as an ice climber, obviously we’d be there for whatever he needed.

We’ve been friends with Markus Bendler for a number of years. After coming to us as an athlete originally, he became a valuable expert for all alpine sports clothing. And when he wanted to open a premium alpine sports shop after an active career as an ice climber, obviously we’d be there for whatever he needed.

When Markus isn’t helping customers in the “Rock‘n’Roll Mountain Store” in Kirchdorf, Tirol, you can often find him in the mountains. And when he told us in 2015 that he’d just found a place where you have to cross “forests” of two-meter-tall ferns on the approach, one thing was certain: we needed to go there. A few years passed before we finally visited the “madhouse”. But the wait was definitely worth it, and we were rewarded with an amazing day of climbing in autumn.
