Throughout our latest collection we increased our focus on the use of natural materials.

Nature is our home. That may sound like contemporary marketing speak, but for Maloja it truly has special meaning. We love being outside. Our collections are made for the outdoors. So of course, we want to help protect the natural environment as much as possible. That is why we spend a lot of time exploring natural fibres instead of artificial ones. We are constantly developing new blends that optimally combine the various advantages of natural fibres with one another. In the current collection we once again put increased focus on using natural materials. The result: We now use more natural fibres than ever before and use an ever-increasing number of different fibres in general.

For much of our collection, organic cotton has more or less become a standard. We’ve been using it for years already. In fact, we’ve managed to take a step further by switching all of our sweat and printed cotton products to organic cotton. In doing so we pay close attention not only to cultivation without pesticides but also on the shortest possible supply chains. More than two-thirds of our entire collection is manufactured in Europe.

In addition to organic cotton, we are increasing the amount of natural fibres such as hemp and silk to our collection. Their addition compliments the other natural materials we have throughout are product range: Modal, Tencel, Yak Wool and Merino Wool.
You might ask, why we do this? We believe that high quality clothing made from natural raw materials is at the end of the day easier to dispose of, leaves little to no residue and thus helps keep the environmental footprint to a minimum.
